Having Founded AICA Group in 2005, Shiju’s responsible for managing and overseeing AICA’s diverse portfolio and has grown the business into one of the leading renewable energy providers in Australia. Under Shiju’s guidance, AICA has expanded its product portfolio from residential and commercial solar to include battery storage solutions, electricity supply for business, embedded networks and electric vehicle charging.
Additionally to his work in renewable energy, Shiju is a director at AICA International, where his experience in international migration has further enhanced AICA International’s excellence in Immigration Law, Talent Acquisition, Tourism, Education and Trading. Shiju holds a Masters degree in Business Administration from India and a Masters of Professional Accounting and Accounting and Finance from ECU in WA, while is a member of Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) Australia, a MARA & MIA Australian immigration agent and has accreditations from the Australian Institute of Management.
As the Technical Director of AICA Engineering and Co-Founder of AICA, Shaji’s knowledge, experience and skills in the renewable energy industry is a key reason for the continual success of the business. Compiling years of research and dedication into renewable energy solutions, he has asserted himself as a leader in the space of renewables, with his research and design interests including hybrid power systems, Power electronics converters and energy management systems.
Prior to establishing AICA Engineering, Shaji was the Engineering Manager and Project Engineer at Regen Power, while also holding pivotal roles in many industry and service sectors across India, the Middle East and Australia. Shaji holds a PhD in Electrical Power Engineering, specialising in Renewable Energy Hybrid Power systems from Curtin University along with a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering. He additionally has an Electrical Contractors License along with an Australian Clean Energy Council (CEC) accreditation for stand-alone and grid connected solar system design and installation.
